Education
Amparo is a graduate of the William S. Richardson School of Law in Hawai’i. During law school, Amparo was a research assistant and a member of the Richardson Scholar Advocates Program. While attending law school, Amparo also externed with the Honorable Chief Justice Mark E. Recktenwald of the Supreme Court of Hawai‘i.
Life Outside the Firm
In her spare time, Amparo enjoys spending quality time with her family and dogs. She enjoys travel and adventure as well as hiking and running.
Biography
Amparo is a member of Business Law Group’s litigation practice group. The pursuit of excellent results and client satisfaction drives Amparo’s practice. She concentrates her practice in the areas of business, bankruptcy, and commercial civil litigation. She provides guidance and representation to clients navigating complex legal issues. Amparo’s emphasis on providing creative and zealous advocacy has contributed to her success in obtaining favorable rulings and resolutions for her clients.
Amparo was born and raised in Valencia, Spain. She received a Degree in Law (LL.B) and a Degree in Business Administration (B.BA) from the University of Valencia, Spain. Thereafter, Amparo moved to Hawai’i to pursue her Master of Law Program (LL.M) at the William S. Richardson School of Law, which she received in 2014. After graduating in 2016 with a Juris Doctor from William S. Richardson School of Law in Hawai’i, Amparo joined a prominent law firm located in Honolulu, Hawai’i, where she worked for several years. During that time, she focused her practice on real estate, commercial, and bankruptcy litigation. She advised and represented lenders, debtors, landlords and tenants, and creditors in a wide variety of industries.
Prior to joining Business Law Group, Amparo served as a judicial law clerk in two different jurisdictions. She served as a law clerk for two years for the Honorable Robert J. Faris at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Hawai‘i, where she assisted with all matters related to consumer and business bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 7 liquidation and Chapter 11 reorganization. Later in her legal career, she served as a law clerk for a year for the Honorable Magistrate Judge F. Keith Ball (ret.) at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, where she participated in numerous discovery conferences and assisted in settlement conferences on complex civil cases.
With her eight years of legal experience and first-hand exposure to the federal courthouse, Amparo is known for her strong work ethic, integrity, professionalism, and ability to navigate complex matters. She approaches each case with a strategic mindset and relentless commitment to obtaining the most favorable outcomes for her clients.
